Self care is the epitome of health. When we love ourselves we love our bodies and are essentially prolonging our life. Think about it when we eat junk, lay on the couch, have high stress levels and drink beer/alcohol multiple times a week, we are not caring for our bodies; thus, creating poor gut health, inflammation and infection in the body.
Self care is the roadmap to a healthy life, mentally, physically and emotionally. There are so many hormones in are body that when treated well, create a healthier self.
Self care doesn't have to be done by spending hundreds of dollars every week. It can be as simple as going for a walk or taking a nap.
