April: I completed my dietetic internship! 💪💪💪
May: Study. Study. Study, but before that I took 10 days to myself, and I was able to celebrate my Bride-to-Be, Allie! I surprised her for her Bach party in Miami, Florida! We had so much fun and ate such delicious food that we hope to make an annual trip out of it! After all I am a McGrath sister right? 🙏
June and July: After endless hours and days of studying, I passed a very stressful RD exam and officially became RD, RDN certified :) It was such a relief, because after 5 years of pursuing my dream it finally came true! My parents and I celebrated at T-Bones on Lake Wylie, and the next morning we were off to Minnesota to see the family! Thank God I passed or that would have been made for a depressing vacation, as I only get to see my family and friends every 2-3 years, so all we do is play catch up! My flight to MN was the best birthday gift I've received; thanks mom, dad & Craig. I was able to spend quality time with both of my grandmothers, tour downtown, watch some softball games, and had one of our famous Minnesota "garage" party with our lifelongs. I was also able to meet my second cousin Lincoln, a good friend's baby, Pierce, and "meet" baby Dorr (surprise gender)!
JUNE AND JULY BABIESSSS EVERYWHERE!!
The last weekend of June and beginning of July are always crazy! We celebrated Bella, my niece's, birthday with a homemade grilled cheese cake from Craig and I (recipe coming soon), which was basically the best birthday present ever considering thats all my niece will eat! Then we celebrated my Beef's (Alexa) birthday on the boat, and finally checked out CLT TopGolf with the family for Craig's birthday. He's a fourth of July baby, so I tried to do something special the Monday before since we usually are with family friends celebrating The Fourth of July. This year was a low key 4th, so we we're able to have Jack & Christine over to celebrate Craig's actual birthday!
Jack is actually responsible for Craig and I's relationship!! I met Jack and Christine in high school, and when Craig was an exchange student at UNC, Jack and him met on the Rugby team. Jack brought Craig home on a holiday break, where we met about 8 years ago. Craig left the country after he graduated college, but fortunately came back to the USA to go to Chiropractic school, and here we are 3.5 years later! :) Thanks Jackeroni!
